Chiru refused to react on Ballaya comments
Congress leader Chiranjeevi refused to react on the allegations levelled against him by TDP star campaigner Balakrishna. However, the erstwhile PRP Chief made it clear that anyone can contest from any seat, responding to Balayya’s statement that he is ready to take on his contemporary actor.
“What’s wrong in his statement? In Democracy, any person can contest from any place in the state,” said Chiranjeevi.
Earlier, Balakrishna alleged that Chiranjeevi sold his party for party posts and also said that the former PRP Chief is dreaming of becoming the Chief Minister of the state.
Chiranjeevi alleged that TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu who ditched the Backward Castes has no right to question his commitment to serve the people.
“Chandrababu has no moral right to utter the word Social Justice. PRP has allocated 104 seats to BCs in 2009 Assembly elections. No other political party has done such thing in the history of state politics. After I took up the Social Justice slogan, Chandrababu organized the BC Gharjana in Warangal and claimed that his party would allot 100 seats to the Backward Castes. But, TDP failed to give atleast 60% of what they had promised!,” he accused.
